− Any boy who lost his parents and has no means of nourishment and protection.

− Any boy whose father is handicapped and is not able to earn livelihood.

− Any boy whose father has gone under life imprisonment will be discharged from the orphanage after his father is released.

− Any boy whose father had divorced the mother of the boy and lives with his mother. If the parents reconcile, the boy will be discharged and handed over to them.(Resolution passed in 1998)
