Welfare Educational Institute.
As the name “welfare” indicates, the school has been established with aim to improve the living and educational standard of the orphans and destitute children belonging to the broken, suffered as well
as victimized poor, backward, and downtrodden sections of the society. The school has been established in 2004, functioning under supervision of J&K Yateem khanah. The motive behind its establishment is to provide moral, ethical, social and professional training to the orphan students on 100% charity basis.
Initially, the school was started on primary level and with the grace of Almighty Allah it has reached to higher secondary level and now has been upgraded into a degree college.The institution has taken it as challenge to improve the status of backward, and mentally disturbed children by providing them all the necessary things such as Books, stationary items , uniform, meals, and tuition and transport facilities free of cost.
The school is fully equipped with the science laboratories , computer lab and a library. The computer lab has also a broad band internet facility. Sports and co-curricular activities are conducted regularly to develop physical and hygienic abilities of the students. In this connection a sport Gym has been started in the premises.
More than 550 students are studying in the institute. A well qualified and dedicated teaching staff of 40 members is serving under the proper guidance of the management of the institution.The school is expected to achieve its noble mission In'shaAllah. A regular course of Arabic and Islamiyat is also taught continuously taking separate classes in order to develop the moral values among these students.
The institute is serving with full zeal and zest to develop educationally and morally the disturbed children belonging to both cities and remote villages of the state so that they become the valuable citizens of the society.
Admission Rules
− Any boy who lost his parents and has no means of nourishment and protection.
− Any boy whose father is handicapped and is not able to earn livelihood.
− Any boy whose father has gone under life imprisonment will be discharged from the orphanage after his father is released.
− Any boy whose father had divorced the mother of the boy and lives with his mother. If the
parents reconcile, the boy will be discharged and handed over to them.(Resolution passed in 1998)
